Children and young people are usually open to new ideas and willing to try new things, as long as they feel safe and understand what’s happening. Young children are naturally in and out of a trance-like state during imaginative play which naturally lends itself to hypnosis.
As their parent, you’ll always be fully involved in your child’s hypnotherapy. Depending on the age of your child, we ask that you attend both their free initial consultation and sessions.

At their consultation, we’ll use age-appropriate explanations, examples and language to explain to them how the brain works, what impact this has on the issues that they are struggling with and how we can help.
We’ll work with your child to understand how they would prefer to think, feel and behave. This process will also give you a good insight into how you can reinforce any treatment at home.

During subsequent sessions we’ll use Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, a gentle but effective blend of neuroscience, cognitive behavioural therapy and hypnosis.
We’ll deliver positive suggestions to boost your child’s self-esteem and confidence, and to help them take small, manageable steps towards their goals.
